PTSD Awareness Month

June is PTSD awareness month. PTSD (posttraumatic stress disorder) is a mental health problem that some people develop after experiencing or witnessing a life-threatening event, like combat, a natural disaster, a car accident, or sexual assault. Store update

We have been patiently (sort of) waiting for Gildan to figure out what their plans are for American Apparel. Our store used to use American Apparel shirts because they were made in the USA, they were comfortable, high quality, and had a huge assortment of colors. American Apparel shirts are getting harder and harder to get so until they start production in the US again then we will be printing our shirts on 2 different brands. Expect some changes with our products

Hello All, I'll cut right to the chase on this, unfortunately we will be changing the shirts that we use to print on. As a Veteran and a proud American I believe that it is important to support companies that make their products in the USA, which is why we exclusively used American Apparel shirts. American Apparel is bankrupt and their shirts are now harder to find than an honest politician. American Apparel is being bought by the Canadian based company Gildan. It sounds like in the future Gildan will produce some American Apparel shirts in the USA and some overseas....

In case you haven't noticed we place a huge emphasis on products made in the USA. Subtle T's tries to support local businesses and when that is not possible we at least keep it in the USA. To us it is worth paying a little bit more so that we support our fellow Americans. American Apparel is the primary company that we use for our t-shirts because they are quality shirts that are made in the US.
